Minimalist telescopic shelf Alea
The minimalist telescopic shelf Alea suggests delicacy and dynamism. Its sculptural design exudes graceful fluidity, blending art and function in a way reminiscent of Louise Nevelson’s sculpted paintings. The five small shelves in different shapes extend from the central stem and seem to float around its delicate axis.
Its name Alea is inspired by avant-garde music and means “a margin of chance for the performer”.

In the freedom of personal expression, you orchestrate the sequence of shelves, and the placement of each component, conducting a timeless rearrangement of your living space.
There are no fixed positions or orders to be followed, the shelves can be attached in any order and at any height along the pole.
We handcraft the shelves from thin metal foil sheets into plural geometrical shapes. The telescopic floor/ceiling fixture enables effortless adjustment to any height without the need for drilling.
Our aspiration with this limited edition artwork is to open space to improvisation in a play of sculptural aesthetics and graphic minimalism.
The minimalist telescopic shelf Alea is a tribute to Louise Nevelson’s creative genius, and defined “next level design” by Elle Decoration
